Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Marion Combs is a Denver, Colorado native who began her strategic communications career in 1999 as the Public Information Liaison consultant on the award winning Transportation Expansion Project (T-REX). A $1.67 billion, multi-modal project co-owned by the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and the Regional Transportation District (RTD).
Marion has extensive experience in managing strategic communications programs for large and small infrastructure projects. From a $90 million design-build highway improvement project inclusive of a community centered door-to-door outreach campaign for the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), to the $2.5 billion Regional Transportation District (RTD) FasTracks Program Project known as Eagle P3 , the first USA transit, public, private, partnership project.
Marion and her team managed the 6 year construction centered public information deliverable on behalf of the RTD selected concessionaire, Denver Transit Partners (DTP) led by Fluor, a multinational engineering and construction firm in JV partnership with Balfour Beatty, a leading international infrastructure group providing innovative and efficient infrastructure, and many top design, contractor, safety, and environmental organizations inclusive of numerous local, small, minority, and women owned firms.
Sylvia Cordy has more than 30 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, consensus building, strategic communications, issues management and media/public relations. In 1983, she founded Cordy & Company (C&C), a public relations agency that specializes in structuring and executing communications strategies to align its clients with the communities they serve.
Sylvia has extensive experience in the transportation industry. She has managed stakeholder engagement, consensus building and public outreach for highway construction projects, including a Major Investment Study for the East Corridor from Downtown Denver to Denver International Airport for the Denver Regional Transportation of Governments (DRCOG), and Kimley Horn & Associates.
Sylvia also developed and managed the communications plan for "D.C. Streets: An Innovative Partnership for Better Roads", a public/private partnership that included the Federal Highway Administration ( FHWA), The District of Columbia Department of Public Works, and private entity, VMS, Inc.. a local business enterprise.
A public relations professional with more than 20 years of experience in the communications/public relations field (corporate and private sectors) including corporate communications, community outreach and engagement, media relations, internal/external communications, copy writing, marketing, advertising, video script writing/production, event planning and social media strategies.
Tracy is a new century PR professional who embraces web technologies and uses Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter as just a few of the tools in her PR arsenal. Extensive connections in Denver’s communities of color have helped bridge the gap between clients and their various stakeholders.
Ivan is an advertising, marketing and communication specialist with over 20 years of experience in the strategic development, design, and execution of targeted merchandising and promotional programs. His unique approach has resulted in a very successful track record of building brand equity and generating product trial resulting in incremental sales that have continuously exceeded plan. Ivan has also served with distinction on corporate innovation teams whereby the objective was to identify, evaluate, and recommend new business development strategies and best practices.
As the first Director of Multicultural Marketing at the Coors Brewing Company, Ivan established the template and methodology that concentrated on both advertising and retail marketing development based upon a strategic platform and keen consumer insights.
In 2013, Street Source Marketing was selected to manage the Joint Marketing Fund on behalf of the concessionaires at Denver International Airport. In that capacity, there is responsibility for overall concessions marketing, media planning and placement, both inside and outside of the airport, providing insights and research with respect to the concessions program, develop promotions to drive revenue, manage concessions advisory committee, assist with job fairs, and provide overall strategic consultation and fund management.
